Which student information systems does Cruncher support?
Cruncher was not designed for, nor dependent on any specific student information system. Cruncher is designed to enhance your student information system, not to replace it. Cruncher currently will interface with SASIxp™, PowerSchool®, Aeries™, and eSchoolPLUS+. Please contact Cruncher Solutions info@crunchersolutions.com for information, if your Student Information system is not currently supported.
What are the server requirements for Cruncher?
Cruncher runs on a Windows server. Minimum 2ghz CPU, 2gb RAM, 100gb storage. Larger districts will benefit from more powerful hardware.
What database does Cruncher use?
Cruncher utilizes either Microsoft SQL, or Interbase Firebird.
What is involved to install and deploy Cruncher?
You are responsible for purchasing Server for Cruncher. Installing the Windows Server OS and MS Office. You connect the server to your district network, and configure the server so that we will have RDP assess to the server. We take it from there. Cruncher Inc. personnel install, update, and maintain the Cruncher Software.
What type of support do customers receive?
Cruncher Inc. personnel work closely with all of our customers to offer the highest level of support possible. We import your tests results, we handle the submission of Pre-IDs, We help to ensure your data is 100% accurate, We notify you of potential problems.
Which Browsers do you support?
Cruncher is tested and supported on, the latest version of; Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox, and Apple Safari.
May I open multiple Cruncher windows?
Yes, Cruncher has the capability to run multiple sessions for one user.
How do I log into the Cruncher Demo?
Cruncher may be configured to use it's own usernames and passwords, or utilize your Windows Active Directory to validate users. See Cruncher in action here Cruncher Demo We have a number of login accounts created for you to see a few of the access levels available with Cruncher.
What type of support do you offer with Cruncher?
Support for the Cruncher Solution will be provided for the duration of the contract. Contracts are extended on an annual basis. Cruncher customers receive full, phone and e-mail assistance for the Cruncher web site and application to the DISTRICT's designated support contacts during standard office hours (8am-5pm) on Cruncher Solutions. work days.
Our support hours are 8AM to 4PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday excluding holidays. During Mid August through Mid June (traditional school year), we try to hold the turn around time (the time it takes us to get back to you) to about 4 business hours. From Mid June to Mid August (traditional summer vacation), we generally will get back to you within 8 business hours.
