Data Validation
Accurate output begin with accurate input. Each night, after Cruncher is updated with the latest data from your student information system, Cruncher validates student demographic information, and SIS setup data for accuracy. Student demographic information is checked, ensuring all data is populated and accurate, thus ensuring an error free Pre-Id .
The Enrollment Errors report examines each student's enrollment records for accuracy, validating the students record with the enrollment records ensuring both are in agreement. Each enrollment record for a student with an enrollment problem will be displayed, Cruncher will display an error message indicating the record(s) in question.
Data Extract
Create specialized reports with a few simple clicks; Golden State Merit Diploma, ELSSA Section A, AMAO, LCEN R30, ED102, Student National Origin Report, and more.
Reporting
Select from a wide range of demographic, and testing criteria to disaggregate students for a wide range of Reports. Cruncher features a number of report formats geared to get you, the user, the results you need. Cruncher reports contain specific data per report, results can be selected from ANY criteria you wish. You can even add to the displayed information through a series of options to include additional demographic information.
Class Rosters
Class rosters provides the ability to view data by teacher, period, or section. Reports may be sorted, ascending or descending, on a variety of data points for the report. District and School personnel, will have access to all section rosters across the district, or school as applicable. Teachers have access to all reports for their current students.
Testing and Pre-Id
Cruncher Solutions will handle all aspects of the Pre-ID process if requested by the customer. We will set up the Pre-Id in Cruncher, and handle submission to the testing company if you desire. Designated district representatives are required to give final approval for all Pre-ID's, we will not submit a Pre-ID before we have your OK. Once configured per your specifications, a new Pre-ID file will be created each night during the nightly update process. Each Pre-ID created is validated to ensure all required data is present, and accurate. We work with all of our customers intimately during the Pre-ID process to ensure timely submission of an accurate Pre-ID file.
Local Testing
Configure your own local testing parameters within Cruncher. Highly configurable, nearly any local testing data may be entered. Reports for local testing are available at the district, school, and teacher level, just as with all standardized state testing reports. Raw score, Percent, Performance Scores, and Result fields available. Determine performance scores, percent, or results automatically based on your criteria. Data may entered by teachers directly on screen. Data entry periods are configurable, allowing for control of when, and how data may be entered. Local testing results may also be imported directly into Cruncher. You produce a text file, with the necessary data, and we will import the results.
Multiple Measures
Combine results from multiple sources, STAR, CELDT, CAHSEE, Local Testing and Assessments, Student Grades, and more. Assemble these results into a single, overall report indicative of the students progress.
UC/CSU Requirements, Student Profile
The US/CSU Requirements Met Report, available at the District, School, and Teacher level indicated the number of earned, enrolled, and remaining credits for each area A through G, and whether or not the student has met the requirements. The Student Profile page, which can be viewed on screen, or created as a PDF document shows the students entire high school history. Graduation Requirement, met and not met. UC/CSU Requirements, those met, and what remains for those not met.
Report Cards
- Create regular A - F report cards, in just a few easy steps.
- Verify Mark Descriptions, Add Mark Descriptions in additional languages if desired.
- Enter a message to be displayed on all report cards, if desired.
- Select the report card parameters. Pick the reporting period, and any additional columns you wish to be displayed.
- Report cards can be sorted by a variety of criteria. Want to print report cards for only students with a zero balance? We can do that too.
- Include the GPA? Include Credits?
- Want the report cards addressed "To the Parents of", no problem.
Report Cards will be generated as PDF files on the Cruncher server. You can preview the report cards prior to printing. Report Cards may also be generated for a single student, should the need arise.
Attendance Letters & Reporting
Design your own Attendance Letter configuration and template. Define when, and how letters will be generated. Attendance Letters are completely customizable, and can be configured for specific grades, periods, and absence types. Multiple letter configurations may be configured, as many as you need. Generate Letters on your schedule, as frequently as once per day if you wish.
The Basic Attendance Report returns a simple list of all students who meet your selection Criteria. Need to find all students with 3 or more tardy occurrences between November, and March? Want to find habitually truant students? Want to get a perfect attendance report? The Basic Attendance Report can do all of these, and more. The Possible Non-Reported Absences Report is used to detect "holes" in a students attendance record. With this report, you are able to find all students (as an example) who were marked as absent in all periods but one.
ADA calculations
The Monthly Attendance Report contains both detail and summary reports, detailing attendance information for the reporting period. Each reporting period can be processed once the end date for the period has passed. The detail report shows the number of days enrolled, not enrolled, absent, and present for each student. The summary report shows statistics for enrollment, student count, attendance days, and ADA for the attendance period. Any changes to attendance, after the attendance period has been approved, will show as adjustments which then may be approved or declined.
The J18/19 report utilizes the attendance information extracted in the Monthly Attendance report, to generate your J18/19 report. P1, P2, and Final reports are available in both Detail and Summary format.
